Pip lost his great expectations when he thought he was coming into prosperity. I lost my great HAPPINESS when I thought I was soooo close to bliss. It hurts. Pip was lucky to have Herbert as best friend and Joe his family. But for me, it seems that I have nothing to expect in my life. Anyway, if I die one day because of heartbreak and desperation, I deserve it right because I attach my expectations and happiness on another person while I shouldn't have done. Just as Dickens has told us 200 years ago.
