The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

The book portraits everyone in reality. Doctor Jekyll is the normal and common ego who is controlled and disciplined by laws and rules in society, while Mr. Hyde is the born id who is evil, selfish, indifferent towards others and desire for absolute freedom in nature. They represent the duality or two facets of a single person. Just think about ourselves. Were there some times when you want to break the law to pursue justice? Were there some times when you don't want to talk anything anymore? Were there some times when you want to quit and go for a dream? If so, there is definitely a Mr. Hyde in you, but it's merely a thought and Mr. Jekyll wins most of the time for most of us.

Gothic sci-fi, with philosophical enquiries into human nature and the power of evil.
