西遊記故事（英文版）

Journey to the West ， one of the Four Great Classical Novels, tells the story of a master and his three disciples who journey to the West to obtain sacred scriptures. Along the way, they face eighty-one tribulations. Despite countless unexpected changes and challenges on the path, the four fear no hardship and ultimately succeed in their quest. 整體時間：34h31m 不記得自己第一次看英文版小說的具體時間，只記得完整看完第一本的書籍是《Charlotte’s  web》，而且它還是在手機app上看的電子版，然後就是紙質書《Harry Potter》的伏地魔精裝版，才發現自己看的英文版書籍實在太少了，這次看電子版《The journey to the west》整個過程很順利，拿起來就放不下的那種。也不知道是不是因爲看過視頻，還是它真的比較簡單……whatever，我喜歡它，也是因爲看完後，才發現自己竟然從來沒看過整本《西遊記》，這還是第一次看，算是一種彌補吧。 Ps：看的版本是潘雲充寫的，百度搜到的是加拿大，我主要是想確認會不會有中式思維，然後導致我看的過程很順利。（書裏有不少的拼音）

不知道是因爲翻譯的問題，還是因爲我長大了，讀起來很乏味。 每一回都是差不多的套路，走進了一座山——有一陣妖風——有個屋子(或山洞)——妖怪出現了——唐僧被捉走——打不過，問土地山神——找神仙求助——妖怪被收——繼續上路。 小時候看中文版，覺得每一回都很精彩，各有各的精彩，英文版看不出來這些。 但我還是堅持讀完了，有部分的目的爲了學英語，讀起來難度倒是不大，都是些比較簡單的詞彙和語句，而且中式英語的感覺很明顯，相較於其他英文原版的作品，這個讀起來要輕鬆多了。

雖然作者會將二郎神直接翻譯成“the second prince”, 以及認爲嫦娥是男的，原著中的一些有趣的波折被省略。 但是這種書挺適合我們的，因爲我們已經大概知道了故事情節，所以遇到不懂的單詞也可以猜出來，那些藝術性很強的國外文章，我們很難get到有趣的點，因爲語言與文化有關係，我們對於外國的文化知道的還是比較少的。 期待更多的中國文學可以被翻譯出來

總算花時間讀完了，很多人對這本書的評價就是奇幻小說，小時候看會被它裏面一些奇幻的描寫吸引，但等到長大後卻覺得裏面充滿着邏輯混亂，甚至讓人難以閱讀，但這恰恰是這本書真正的精髓，在奇幻的外表下，流露出的是對現實世界混亂的，官官相護的，那些極權極貴奢侈淫亂，毫無法紀的批判，有背景的妖怪犯事只是歸化，而沒背景的被就地正法，嚴苛的懲罰僅僅來源於一些微不足道的錯誤，這些描寫都是對那個時代的控訴，在那個時代權力至上，法與道德只是點綴，混亂的邏輯下全都是那個時代民生的真實寫照。 at first you can read it as a fantastic story,once you combine its story with the background of that era,you will see the crucial ,misfortune and illogical world under this novel，so under its fantasy, it is the reflection of the real.

實在沒有閱讀必要，浪費精力，寫完評論將其從書架中刪除～找一本中文版，用AI翻譯着看，也會比它有意思。實在想不明白，作者怎麼有勇氣把一部名著改編、翻譯成這樣，還敢出書呢？？
