林肯傳(大師經典文庫)(英文版)

看了幾個中文版本，都有很多問題，要麼平鋪直敘，要麼詞藻過於華麗，脫離原文。只能啃英文原版。多虧了那些翻譯不好的中文版，我纔有機會讀完英文版《林肯傳》。在這本書中，林肯的慈悲，智慧和幽默無處不在，有時會讓我感動落淚，有時笑得前仰後合。林肯就是跟你我一樣的普通人，但是他的心胸、格局、信念與堅韌的性格卻是非常人所能具備的。安息吧，林肯總統，願世界和平，不再有任何戰爭……

字數雖然不算特別多，但我還是讀了兩個多月，閱讀的過程是痛苦的，但真正全文讀下來後的成就感是空前的，真正去嘗試瞭解林肯後，發現他雖然頭頂多項光環，但他的個人生活無疑是痛苦的，自己心愛的人患病去世，和自己不愛的人組成家庭，文中描述的家庭生活更像是一個地獄，在這種環境下我可能1個月就瘋了，他還能默默忍受過來，林肯身上更多展現的是堅忍的氣質，一個正直的，無權無勢，默默忍受生活的人，竟然一路幹到了美國總統，雖然這個總統更像是他撿來的，不得不說有時候機緣巧合也很重要。

2018.4.3-2022.4.18 時間確鑿無誤，一本看了四年的書。詞句不細究，憑連續的記憶和印象，串成一個故事，出現一個偉大的人的形象。對個人而言是悲劇，然而是勝利的悲劇，是戰勝的人生。

卡耐基的文筆是真的好，特別擅長敘事和細節刻畫。把林肯的人生佚事和美國曆史結合的很好，可讀性強。這個暑假已推薦給國際學校的學生閱讀。

一本非常經典的林肯傳記，原汁原味，美國成功學大師戴爾·卡耐基執筆，值得閱讀、回味[呲牙]
