Treasure Island is a fantastic adventure story about a young boy named Jim Hawkins who finds a pirate's treasure map and sets sail to find the gold. Through his dangerous journey, Jim learns to be brave and to tell the difference between good and bad people . The book teaches us that greed can lead to trouble and that true courage and good friends are more valuable than treasure itself .
