The Metamorphosis變形記（英文版，馬爾克斯：原來小說可以這樣寫）

這本書展現出作者豐富的想象力，篇幅雖然不長，但是人物形象刻畫生動，情感描寫也非常細膩。故事大概內容是男主Gregor一覺醒來變成一隻大甲蟲，他的家人一開始都感到震驚恐懼難以理解，家人接受現實後但是在日常生活中害怕疏遠刻意遠離迴避男主，再到最後男主成爲家人的累贅和負擔被厭煩拋棄，男主最終在孤獨中死去。

Kafka’s story uses a man turning into a bug to show how fragile family love really is. It suggests that in a world focused on money and work, people lose their value when they can no longer contribute. It is a sad look at loneliness and the loss of human connection.
