《聖經》是世界上流傳範圍最廣、對人類影響最大、在全球發行量最多的一部書，它不僅是一部宗教經典，也是整個西方文明的基石，對西方社會、政治、教育、思想等方面產生了深遠影響；同時也成爲全人類文明的一個重要組成部分。《聖經故事》嘗試用淺顯的故事形式讓一般讀者對這部典籍能有個大致的瞭解。本書分《舊約篇》和《新約篇》兩個部分。其中《舊約篇》講述了創世之初，上帝耶和華創造亞當、夏娃以及他們的後人如何形成以色列民族，並在“上帝應許之地”建立和發展自己的王國等故事。《新約篇》講述了基督耶穌的誕生、傳播上帝福音和被猶大出賣並被處死以及使徒們傳教等故事。
原作者就夠差了，這個中國編者其實就是翻譯人家的，還不把人家名字留下來。
這本聖經的故事就是房龍版的，爲什麼沒有房龍的名字，而是寫了一箇中國作者編著的？

The Bible was written by more than forty authors and has been written for more than 1,600 years. It was completed between 1500 and 97 years after the Lord. The author's identity includes Kings, priests, prophets, warriors, tax collectors, shepherds, fishermen, doctors, apostles, and scribes. They have different jobs and different places to write. But what is written is exactly the same, and there is no conflict between them. The bible is a reviewer, (heb. 4:12) the bible is a reviewer of the word of god, of the thoughts and the will of man. The bible is light as well as light (psalm 19105). The bible is like a mirror (jas. 1:23), like water (eph. 5:26), like bread (jn. 6:35), like a sword, which penetrates the heart (heb. 4:12). The bible is more like a hammer. The bible is more precious than gold, and like fire it burns all filth. The bible is the seed of life, planted in the heart of man. (mt. 13:1-9, 36-43)
作者採用了通俗易懂的現代語言來講述聖經的故事，作爲粗略快速瞭解聖經的基本脈絡，本套叢書還是起到一定的作用。然而，作者是站在一個非基督徒的角度來講述故事，其中的觀點與內容難免跟原版聖經有所出入，要想真正瞭解聖經的內容，還是得閱讀原版聖經。
清晰易懂，而且講解的都很有趣，作爲啓蒙很合適。但部分內容跟聖經有出入，看得我眉頭一皺…不過還是推薦
威嚴的耶和華、大愛的耶穌。其實神也人，人也神！只要心善你是人也是神！
把舊約與新約提綱似的串講了一遍。
