發明的故事（英文版）

In order to survive, human beings made full use of their wisdom and invented the first dress, the first rope, the first bridge, the first bowl, etc. The invention has further expanded the functions of basic organs such as human hands, feet, mouth, eyes and ears. To augment the power of human hand, containers, weapons and tools were invented by some genius we don't know. Horse'back, bridge, ship, vhiecle, flight are substitutes for human feet. Cloth, house for skin. Letter, newspaper, telephone, picture for mouth. Spectacles and glasses for eyes.

"scatterbrain" -- I cant keep thought when I read this book, cuz too many old words used. it comes from 1928 amost 100 years ago. All the things was changed but be a Historian, Van Loon told us something throught his spicial angle that explained how the ordinary people made miracle for mankind and how to use their bodies to created new things. Finally form barbarism to civilization.
