西游记故事（英文版）

Journey to the West ， one of the Four Great Classical Novels, tells the story of a master and his three disciples who journey to the West to obtain sacred scriptures. 整体时间：34h31m 不记得自己第一次看英文版小说的具体时间，只记得完整看完第一本的书籍是《Charlotte’s  web》，而且它还是在手机app上看的电子版，然后就是纸质书《Harry Potter》的伏地魔精装版，才发现自己看的英文版书籍实在太少了，这次看电子版《The journey to the west》整个过程很顺利，拿起来就放不下的那种。也不知道是不是因为看过视频，还是它真的比较简单……whatever，我喜欢它，也是因为看完后，才发现自己竟然从来没看过整本《西游记》，这还是第一次看，算是一种弥补吧。 Ps：看的版本是潘云充写的，百度搜到的是加拿大，我主要是想确认会不会有中式思维，然后导致我看的过程很顺利。（书里有不少的拼音）

不知道是因为翻译的问题，还是因为我长大了，读起来很乏味。 每一回都是差不多的套路，走进了一座山——有一阵妖风——有个屋子(或山洞)——妖怪出现了——唐僧被捉走——打不过，问土地山神——找神仙求助——妖怪被收——继续上路。 小时候看中文版，觉得每一回都很精彩，各有各的精彩，英文版看不出来这些。 但我还是坚持读完了，有部分的目的为了学英语，读起来难度倒是不大，都是些比较简单的词汇和语句，而且中式英语的感觉很明显，相较于其他英文原版的作品，这个读起来要轻松多了。

虽然作者会将二郎神直接翻译成“the second prince”, 以及认为嫦娥是男的，原著中的一些有趣的波折被省略。 但是这种书挺适合我们的，因为我们已经大概知道了故事情节，所以遇到不懂的单词也可以猜出来，那些艺术性很强的国外文章，我们很难get到有趣的点，因为语言与文化有关系，我们对于外国的文化知道的还是比较少的。 期待更多的中国文学可以被翻译出来

总算花时间读完了，很多人对这本书的评价就是奇幻小说，小时候看会被它里面一些奇幻的描写吸引，但等到长大后却觉得里面充满着逻辑混乱，甚至让人难以阅读，但这恰恰是这本书真正的精髓，在奇幻的外表下，流露出的是对现实世界混乱的，官官相护的，那些极权极贵奢侈淫乱，毫无法纪的批判，有背景的妖怪犯事只是归化，而没背景的被就地正法，严苛的惩罚仅仅来源于一些微不足道的错误，这些描写都是对那个时代的控诉，在那个时代权力至上，法与道德只是点缀，混乱的逻辑下全都是那个时代民生的真实写照。 at first you can read it as a fantastic story,once you combine its story with the background of that era,you will see the crucial ,misfortune and illogical world under this novel，so under its fantasy, it is the reflection of the real.

实在没有阅读必要，浪费精力，写完评论将其从书架中删除～找一本中文版，用AI翻译着看，也会比它有意思。实在想不明白，作者怎么有勇气把一部名著改编、翻译成这样，还敢出书呢？？
