The more bitterness the sarcasm is of, the more responsible the author is of making known the follies and vices of humankind, in hope of correcting or extricating them by degrees. The last point, the author Swift is an advocate of liberty and fraternity, but a staunch opposer of colonism.
Actually, I failed to understand what the real thought was conveyed by the author, but a feeling of being wired, too much. On the other hand, that may be the true meaning of the author, to satirize and criticize…
Such a masterpiece that is so much more than just a “book of travels” as the Author modestly claimed it to be. It is full of imagination, adventure, political thoughts and philosophical wisdoms... 绝不仅仅只是一本“游记”那么简单，尽管作者谦虚地如此称呼它。这是一部充满想象、冒险、政治思考和哲学智慧的真正的大师之作！
因为要写论文才看就太痛苦了，虽然故事还是很经典很有趣的。
It took me nearly a year to finish reading the book. From the radiant summer of 2021 to the bleak spring of 2022, time is always desperate.
本书难就难在，里面的词语和短语很多都是古今异义，哪怕是认识的单词，你也不一定能真正明白它的意思，并不是适合初学者的读本，还是双语好啊。
