This book is a solid starting point for beginners looking to dive into Power BI. The author does a commendable job of breaking down both the what and the how—providing clear, step-by-step instructions that make the learning curve feel much more manageable. One of the standout features is the real-life project example included in the book. It’s not just illustrative—it’s actionable. I highly recommend working through the project twice: first by closely following the book’s guidance, and then again more independently to reinforce your understanding and build confidence. That said, readers should be aware that Power BI has evolved significantly since the book’s publication in 2019. As a result, some of the descriptions and instructions—especially in the final chapters—may feel outdated or confusing. Still, the foundational concepts remain valuable, and the book continues to serve as a useful launchpad for Power BI new users.
