Millions of cats

I could see millions  of people in my life.  But you are the  most  special one in my heart.  When you have a whish that waited for someone, you must be good at discovering. 

除了沒有圖片，原版讀來總是更順暢、好記，尤其反覆出現的這句“Cats here,cats there,Cats and kittens everywhere,Hundreds of cats,Thousands of cats,Millions and billions and trillions of cats.”簡直魔性，完全被洗腦，想忘也忘不了[捂臉]

挺荒誕，挺隨性，挺簡單的浮想聯翩

我覺得這個比之前看的關於通過交換家務來頌揚女性性別優勢，提醒不要被男權思想矇蔽的故事——Gone is gone, 要稍高一個級別。 這個故事講的是男女主生活太孤獨想養一隻貓，男主便翻山越嶺來到一個全是貓的地方，他看哪個都好，都想帶回去給自己的妻子。結果帶回去了" hundreds, thousands, millions, billions, trillions of cats"。 寫到這，我以爲故事的寓意就是本來一直都沒有，結果發現很多貓之後慾望也開始膨脹，變得看見哪個貓都覺得很漂亮想擁有。 可是故事發生了轉變，首先當男主把小傢伙們帶回家，女主清醒的意識到了這麼多貓帶來的麻煩，他們沒有足夠的食物和水來供養它們。而這時老夫妻做出的決定不是留下一隻把剩下的送回去，而是讓貓們自己選擇哪一隻最漂亮哪一隻留下來。這個思路真的是很好的轉移了問題，選擇難題不再屬於夫妻倆，而變成了貓之間的角逐，很有領導力… 而在經過一場貓撕大戰之後，只有一隻謙卑的自稱自己“homely”的小貓咪活了下來。看來不爭奪、不盲目真的是可以救命。後來夫妻倆就決定只養着一隻，當然也只剩下這一隻。經過一段時間，老夫妻們終於覺得天啊，明明只有這一隻纔是所有貓裏最美的嘛！ 最後的小貓咪對於夫妻就像是那株特殊的玫瑰之於小王子，只有你細心呵護、給予愛，它會變成更美好的，也會變成你心中最好的。 請讓我們這樣去愛，單純的愛，帶有一顆栽培的心去愛。 我們不用翻山越嶺跋山涉水去找尋，那個homely的小傢伙在愛的澆灌下，就是prettiest!!不僅你會認爲它是，它事實上也會是。而且只要一個，就足夠了xoxoxo😘

I have always loved cats and had a cat when I was a child. The craziest thing that I have ever done is to make cats and dogs friends, let them eat together, and then bask in the sun with them. I like cats, especially their way of life. Of course, I also admire them very much. They can walk slowly, sleep late and bring happiness to people.

Every cat out of hundreds, thousands, millions, billions and trillions of cats is beautiful, cute and lovely, as long as you are determined have this only one. All of them do not belong to you, you just can keep one. 真的不要有貪婪的野心，想全部擁有，羣貓大戰真的好可怕(◎_◎;)所以只給四顆星。死了那麼多貓真的好可惜😭

很可愛的一本。第四章比前三章難，差點就又不想看了，但斷了一會之後還是堅持讀完了。謝謝自己。 不過貓貓們互相喫掉了彼此……仔細想想挺恐怖的。 Cats here, cats there Cats and kittens everywhere Hundreds of cats Thousands of cats Millions and billions and trillions of cats.

這就是一個很簡短的小故事，幾分鐘可讀完。不是全英文的讀起來感覺很新奇呢。推薦給英語基礎一般的朋友閱讀，比誰動了我的奶酪還要少很多，還沒有一篇長閱讀長。。。   至於書中的內容就是兩個老人感到很孤獨，想要一直貓，後來去找尋貓的過程中，尋到了很多貓。最後剩下了一隻很不好看的。雖然是小故事給，（和誰動了我的奶酪）一樣，小故事，大道理，值得深思。。

雖然是同樣的故事，但文字版和繪本版讀起來還是有不同的感覺。都值得讀一讀。 那隻存活下來的🐱告訴我們: You may think you are somebody, but actually you are nobody.  The person who doesn't talk much but does a lot will go to the last.   (大概?( 'ω' )) 老爺爺也告訴我們: 當你愛一個人時，你會想將整個世界都給她，即使她想要的只是一隻可以陪伴她的小貓❤
