Highly recommend!! Compared to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (Ⅰ), Alice Through the Looking Glass (Ⅱ) was more fulfilling and inspiring for your imagination and curiosity! Further, multiple remaining puzzles were unvealed. Was the Red Queen's head born freakishly huge? What happened after Harmish's proposal was rejected? Did it go well for Alice to go to sea and do business? All the above were answered in this version. Similar to the first, this time, what stimulated Alice back to Wonderland was her realistic predicament with family relationships, involving her caring mother, passed father, and The Harmishs. In the adventure of Wonderland for the 2nd time, Alice harvests life enlightenment and is aware of the irreplaceable values of the family who figured out the solution to the practical challenge. The biggest success of Alice Through the Looking Glass (Ⅱ), in my perspective, was one of the core lines— “You cannot change the past, but can learn from it. ” Most of us have made some errors in the past and have been enduring the agony of repentance, pity, and grief, wishing to cross the Universe of Time and arrive at a certain past moment to change history. Nevertheless, the story honestly broke the disillusion of thinking that if given another chance, the result would take a turn for the better and the painful emotions would ever expire. It imparted the truth that since what passed is past and no efforts would come into effect to differentiate the fact, so just stalk forward with a lifted heart and do not wallow in the past, neither the negative consequences nor the distressed feelings. Now that the history is settled, learn from the experiences and create a less regretless future. Another recommendation was to combine the novel with the movie. The movie, pictorial and vivid with matching music, was dramatically attractive!
