終於找到我要讀的書了，以前我看不下去英文小說，但是現在我可以了，我現在對所有的中文書都厭了，沒有耐心看下去，但是這英文書可以讓我有耐心看下去了。我剛看了個開頭，我只能說寫的太好太好，文學手法細膩、寫實，而且傳達了很深刻的內容。

There is no one righteous, not even one 沒有義人 一個也沒有 Monsieur Bovary Charles was a very dull person, when he was very young his parents knew this, so they sent him to learn at a medical school and become a doctor. After that they also arranged a marriage with a widow who was very elder than Charles only for her wealth. Charles didn’t have any feelings about his wife and his mother also had lot arguments with her, there was not many years they lived together his wife was passed away. Emma was a really pretty girl of a farmer, her favourite thing was reading romantic novel and eager her own romantic love. At one stormy night, her father broke his leg, and Monsieur Bovary take some dangerous and cured his father’s leg carefully. In return his father decided to marry his daughter to Charles who was deeply crashed by Emma. Emma became Madam Bovary in the daze. Actually Charles loved Emma very much, may said it was spoiled her. Whatever Emma want, Charles always satisfied her by his best but the romantic love. After having a daughter who was also take over by nurse, Emma was falling in love with Leon who was a selfish and cowardly notary, he was young and can’t accepted such love, so Leon escaped to the big city to continue his study. Rodolphe, a veteran in love, was attracted by Emma‘s beauty and deliberately seduced her. Emma was so naive to thought that as the true love, she brought lots of gifts to Rodolphe, that made she owned big debts. When she want eloped with Rodolphe, he wrote a letter with some excuse and ran away. After that Emma was really sick, so Charles took her to the theatre to make her happy. At there they met Leon again. Because of long-term apart then meet again and recovered from the disaster, that all made Emma more crazy about love. She looked for any chance to meet her lover even to lie, she spent lots of money to buy luxury gift even to make more debts and sell her husband’s old house. But debts by debts made an huge unaffordable amount. The businessman who trapped Emma was is going to auction all her belongings. Emma asked Leon to misappropriated funds. Sure was refused because it’s criminal. Then she went to asked her former lover Rudolphe, but he didn’t have such amounts. Of course if he have he wouldn’t willingly to help her. There was no way for her but only swallow arsenic. After her death, everybody includes the druggist,chemist,priest knew the reason of Emma’s death, but they all pretend she was a good wife and mother, meanwhile they didn’t give up anything and money that Emma owned. Even her servant stole her clothes and ran away. What hypocritical people they were. Only the poor daughter Berthe, after her farther and grandmother passed away, was adopted by her aunt, who was poor too,and send Berthe to a cotton-factory to earn a living. It’s undoubted that Madam Bovary was a tragedy woman, she was a spoiled never grown up girl, although she was a wife and mother, she didn’t know how to be her new identity, she still lived inside of romantic love stories, nobody waked her from such dream, her lovers played with her for her beauty, business man for her money. The same as Monsieur Bovary, although he had two marriage, he never knew how to be a husband, he loved Emma very much, may it can be said it’s a kind of adore, He doesn‘t understand romance and can’t give Emma the love and life she wants. He didn’t admit Emma‘s affair and only deceived himself. That all made Emma went further and farther until the death took them apart. This book make me very angry with all the characters the author made, may it’s his success. Only I want to say about this book is the title of this book review, that’s also a famous sentence in the Bible:”There is no one righteous, not even one(沒有義人 一個也沒有).” 讀這本書還有一個原因，是最近有不少文章對以前的一些翻譯家提出很多質疑，而本書也是其中被詬病比較多的一本。但我不懂法語，讀了英譯本，在最初的一些筆記裏也對英語部分有些不解，於是讀了李健吾的譯本。對於一個退休了的工科生，半吊子的文學知識，半吊子的英語水平，無論如何都不敢妄論大翻譯家的作品，不過我也半吊子地把每一本譯文都翻看了一下，（許淵衝，周克希和李金平，微信讀書裏所有的版本）。有些議論特別多的也比較了一下，但還真分不出特別的高下，似乎都比較有每個人的特色，尤其是李健吾作爲第一個譯者，而且當時的新文化運動纔剛開始，如果讀那個時期的其他書，同樣有一些半文言的感覺，有些物品可能當時的中國也沒有，如服裝之類，而法國人特別是作者又有很多對服裝等的描寫，無論英語還是中文，我都讀的累啊，但也不能就此就說翻譯不行吧。倒是現代小說，有些翻譯真的太差（《世界的凜冬》的翻譯簡直讓我失望透頂。）

婚姻向來是平凡瑣碎的，不能總活在自己的浪漫童話幻象裏，可以把生活過成詩，而不是一直活在詩裏…… Be real be true,you can be brave to chase sth,but don’t be too selfish to ruin other’s life and future ~all that is extraordinary is ultimately fade into ordinary,the life is truly fulfilled,only when you learn to cherish and live well the plain days .

爲什麼法國人寫的東西要上架英文版的

這個是愛琳娜·馬克思的譯本。不知道爲什麼把她的名字譯成了伊·馬-艾威林。😓
