經典長盛不衰的原因，在於其超越時空的力量。

一百多年前的書了。很有些啓發。但是要了解國內的民衆，不如看魯迅。個人愚見。

The crowd only has an inferior kind of reasoning. So, when we are dealing with somewhat lofty philosophic or scientific ideas that we see how far-reaching the modifications they require are, in order to lower them to the level of the intelligence of crowds, we must transform these ideas. And, after transformation, the idea must assume a very absolute, uncompromising, and simple shape. It must present itself in the guise of images, because it is only accessible to the crowd under this form. Of course, even an idea has undergone the transformations which render it accessible to crowds, it only exerts influence when it has entered the domain of the unconscious and indeed become the sentiment, for which much time is required. An idea enters the domain of the unconscious takes a long time. But once the idea implants in the unconscious domain and becomes a sentiment, it can take disaster or improvement. Eradicating an idea is actually the process of implanting a new idea in crowds. The requirements and the results of them are basically the same.
