The novel tells the life course of the protagonist David from childhood to middle age. Taking the birth of "I" as the source, it brings together the sincerity and darkness of friends, the childishness and impulsiveness of love, the sweetness and triviality of marriage, and the contradiction and harmony of family members. A stream flows slowly on the riverbed of fate, and finally merges into the tolerant and magnificent sea. There are various characters and opportunities in between. The language is witty and witty, presenting a broad picture of mid-19th-century England, reflecting author' ideal of a world full of kindness and justice.

666，I am born.

Just finished a short vision audiobook, and quickly view  a movie. Such lovely  story,  I cannot wait to read the whole book.

A loving heart is better and stronger than wistom.

This is a good book.

It is a book one can enjoy only with a quiet and easy mind. What kind of life you are going to lead, and what choices you are going to make depends on your heart. A disciplined one would direct you to right choices, and a noble one  to a decent life.
